Classic Screens - Technical

High resolution cine-pearl fabric is made especially for fixed screens and it produces superb images in the darkened environment for which it is intended. Any light that competes with a projector will result in diminished picture quality, which means that screens designed for, and used in a maximum contrast environment are the best there is. With a gain of 1.3, and very even dispersion, this white fabric imported from Italy by Homescreens complements the jet black velour border for brilliant viewing with no compromise.

Fabric fastening

This soft, velvet like screen fabric with a micro-fine surface texture is held flat and wrinkle free by a plastic 'keeper' that holds and tensions the screen along its full sides, like a drum skin.
Novices can fix and tension this membrane in 2 - 5 minutes with no more effort than a few firm handshakes. It will release in seconds should the need for re-tensioning or replacement arise. This patent pending fabric fixing is incomparable. It is quick and easy and your hands are the only tools you'll need!

Frame assembly and mounting
Rust proof steel corner braces lock the frame members together in minutes using the supplied Allen Key. Once assembled, the empty frame is hung on 4 supplied wall hooks which lets you see exactly what you are doing. Then the frame is taken down and the fabric is installed in a few minutes. The black masking border snaps into place and the finished screen is replaced on the hooks. Some lateral screen adjustment is allowed to help align your projector.
Where screens are wall assembled, the fabric is front fitted first and every thing else follows the same method.

Frame engineering
Classic screens are engineered based on small screens. This world class patented environmental engineering is unique, and front fabric fixing is in a class of its own.

Waranty
A detailed instruction manual with easy to follow steps is supplied with our flat pack' screens . You'll have your Classic screen on the wall in 20-30 minutes with a little help. Classic screens are warranted for 12 months on parts and labour, excluding (your) assembly. Strict unpacking and assembly instructions warn of sharp mitered frame members and your responsibility to prevent personal injury and property damage.

Classic Two screens ...
Understanding their application

home theatre screen with backlighting

Beautifully framed images
These unique projector screen frames do what colour movies did to black and white movies. Of course you can have an all black frame if you wish. But otherwise you can now colour match your screen to your walls, drapes or your cabinets. But that's only the beginning....

The beveled face of the coloured frame shows a soft ribbon of incident light that frames the image much like the gold trim on artworks by the old masters. This gives depth and perspective to the video picture while the frame color coordinates with your cinema when the projector is off. This unique effect can be enhanced even further with backlighting fitted inside the purpose-made recess. People who have seen these front projection screens are totally amazed at the effect.

So now you can choose your frame colour and your frame finish. And regardless of what Classic frame you choose, picture overspill is arrested by jet black velour masking.

Classic One screens
Understanding their application
Classic One screens are the most universal fixed screens ever offered. On one hand they are the most economical of all, and on the other they offer a cinema solution for the most opulent settings that will not steal the show.
Their design traces from a request to supply a projector screen for a multi-million dollar mega yacht. So even though Classic One screens are the baby of the series, they can proudly take their place in cinemas enjoyed by very wealthy people.

Classic One - wall hung
If you want elegance and economy with vibrant, crisply framed images, easy assembly and mounting, Classic One projector screens hung on the wall like pictures are your solution.
Bigger screens are reinforced. Because the fabric is fitted from the front and covered by the masking border, the frames may be screw fixed in a pleasure yacht cinema with no risk of being dislodged in heavy weather.

You can fit a custom border
Slim and elegant Classic One frames allow virtually any custom border you might choose, including fabric surrounds, acoustic panels or Australian Oak shown here.
Have your cabinetmaker or picture framer make a border to your liking. What you save on the screen will help fund the custom border.
